A bill to ban the dog meat industry in South Korea was launched today, in the latest demonstration that political and social momentum is building to ban this cruel industry. The bill seeks to ban the breeding and slaughter of dogs for human consumption, including banning dog meat farms, dog slaughterhouses and the sale of dog meat throughout South Korea.
